Painted Hand Farm has pioneered regenerative agricultural practices for over thirty years. This includes rotational grazing & browsing, pastured poultry, using livestock for brush clearing and viewshed enhancement in environmentally sensitive areas, multi-species grazing, no mutilation and being predator-friendly.
As a firm believer that sick animals result in sick humans, here at Painted Hand Farm we believe that biodiversity is the key to success. Starting with the soil, no chemicals, are used to artificially create a hospitable base in which forages grow. The pastures are diversified with grasses, forbs, legumes, and native plants.
Livestock are unnecessarily mutilated. This includes clipping beaks on poultry or dehorning cows, goats, and sheep.
Healthy pastures support healthy livestock.
